Its about time I give it up for the West and I can’t think of a better way to set it off than with this record. I don’t quite remember how I came across this song in the first place but naturally the title got my attention. Came to find out this was Ice Cube’s old West Side Connection homie WC’s first group, Low Profile. The song is dated as hell but still has a lo-fi charm to it that this new age digi-hop is missing. Its your classic case about how people front to get into the game. Just a reminder to keep it authentic in everything you do…Enjoy

There’s alot of west coast artists who I’m fans of, but really don’t know their catalog like I should (E-40, Too Short, Spice 1, etc). I’ve been meaning to get my hands on some WC material. Dope song.
