Jay-Z famously proclaimed his knack for setting a mood in his music -a skill few emcees can lay claim to these days. Creative Control standout Curren$y is making a strong case for being entered into that class. Skybourne, a slick, smoke inspired song from his debut album Pilot Talk, features the New Orleans emcee at his best. Crafting visuals with the capable assistance of up and coming rappers Big K.R.I.T. and Smoke DZA who do more than their part to keep the high times vibe afloat. Gotta love it.
